Zazu Campers began in early 2018. Spence was driving a “Maui Cruiser,” and it was time for an upgrade. Rooftop tents started showing up on island, and we knew we had to get one!

After a couple of weeks, we found our first Jeep. We used it on a few epic camping adventures, but soon it was renting more than not! First there was one… now there are 11!

As Zazu grows, it becomes increasingly important to exercise utmost respect for the ‘Āina (land) and Kama’āina (people of the land). We provide a welcome letter to all of our guests so you can make sure to be as respectful as this magical island deserves.
