Description
This highly sought after flippac is an amazing, lightweight, unique, truck camper that helps you get out there and makes camping easy.  These legendary lightweight truck toppers weigh around 350-400lbs, allowing you to still off-road effectively, and still use the payload of your truck. A key feature of the flippac is that you can set up camp in minutes, and also still be able to use your truck as a truck! Once inside the main truck bed area is over 7 ft tall, leave plenty of head space and work area for the tallest of people.

This flippac will fit 6.5ft length trucks that are full width such as an Ford F150/250/350, Toyota Tundra, Nissan Titan, Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra. and Ram 1500/2500/3500, etc. This WILL NOT fit a narrow bed truck like a Toyota Tacoma, Nissan Frontier, Ford Ranger, or Chevy Colorado.

Key upgrades and repairs made:
* torsion bar replaced in 2022
* full fiber glass repair and painted black in 2022
* replaced hinge fabric in 2022
* new Flippac logo stickers
* new low profile roof Bimini mounts
* new mattress in 2022
* freshly lubed zipper pulls
* added rear mounted push point for easier opening by short people! Helps my 5 ft wife open and close the flippac by herself
* added alternative mounting/retention for large cab (e.g. big 4 seaters) trucks. I did this as the standard mount didn't work for my truck and I didn't want to drill holes in my frame!
* added lightweight / reinforced truck bed to flippac mounting
* did a full clean and re-waxed the tent fabric

As you can see, we did a good amount of upgrades and repairs to this flippac.  That said, the flippac is no longer in production and these campers generally are not in "new" condition. Ours is no different than others you'll find on the market, it has been used and it will require some amount of tweaking to fit your truck, preferences, and personality. Here is a bit of the bad and the ugly:
* some of the windows have broken teeth on the zippers. We've repaired what we could and sewed across the zipper with red thread to prevent issues.
* there are a few wear spots in the fabric and areas were it is getting thin. There are probably a few small areas at the flex points where it is worn through. That said, we've never had an issue with rain or water coming in. We camped on 8/10/24 and it rained a few times overnight. We did not have any rain that came into the tent.
* there are a few spots, particularly at the rear of the camper, where the fiberglass is starting to show its age. As mentioned, we've used some lightweight aluminum pieces to distribute the loads better.
* as with every flippac I've seen, you will need to shim/tweak something to get it fit your truck precisely. When we bought this flippac, the previous owner was using 2x6s as bed rails/lifts to get a little more head room as they had a big platform in their truck bed. We mounted the
