Description
2015 Toyota Tundra crew max with 78,000 miles on it approximately. This truck has a proven history of international overlanding capabilities for a family of four.
Winter 2019/2020 me and my wife and two teenage kids spent 85 days traveling from Seattle to El Salvador and back.
This truck handled everything that was thrown at it!
This truck has a 3-inch old man emu lift and 35 inch BFG KO2 tires on custom Black Rhino Armory rims.
The suspension was fully upgraded with Total Chaos Fabrication upper control arms in the front and airbags in the back to support the additional weight.
Heavy duty brakes with slotted and drilled rotors.
Rock sliders are by Slee off-road.
The front winch bumper is by Expeditions One. It’s one of the most highly rated winch bumpers on the market.
The custom painted canopy is by ARE and has a custom-built interior roll cage by Mule Expedition Outfitters to support the weight of the *CVT 4-person roof top tent.
The canopy also has Vision-X floodlights off both sides and out the back.
Both the cab and the canopy have a Rhino Rack roof rack.
Inside the canopy you’ll find a full-length rollout drawer with a built-in propane stove and a roll out platform for a cooler/refrigerator all underneath of a deck that can hold enough gear for a family of four for several weeks.
The truck comes with all necessary gear for a turnkey overlanding experience.
Truck includes 5 gallons of water storage , 5 gallons of gas storage ,
Maxtrax, Highlift jack, shackles, tools, pots, dishes, griddle, party lights, etc.
The truck also has a dual ARB hard mounted air compressor. The interior boasts a large secret storage compartment and a highly secure lockable gun safe under the backseat for storing your cash and documents, or guns while out and about.
Also in the interior you’ll find that there is a backup camera, overhead switch control center, and dual 12 inch subwoofers with remote amp all hidden away. All interior lights are LED, I even converted one of the dome lights to a red bulb so as not to disturb your night vision.
If you would like we can also throw in a Thule skybox if you would like.
The only bad about the truck is that there is a dent in the rear fender caused by sliding off the road in the jungles of Guatemala. Otherwise everything works exactly as it should and all maintenance has been done as recommended.
This truck is a legit legend of a machine!
Divorce is forcing the sale of this, my dream truck. I have invested over $17,000 into it. It gave me my dream expedition through Mexico and Central America so I am content.
