Description
1994 Econoline E-350 Quigley 4X4 conversion custom van. Located in Mesa AZ.
An absolutely stunning , rust free example with a comprehensive refresh.
7.5 liter (460 ci) gas engine with automatic transmission.
166,900 original miles with 17,000 miles since the completion of the overhaul.
This E-350 was purchased new in New York and appears to have been delivered straight to AGOR Recreation Industries in June 1994 for the high-top custom conversion build out before going off to Quigley in July 1994 for the 4 X 4 conversion .
I acquired this van in May 2013 with 148,000 miles. It was apparent the previous owners loved this vehicle and treated it well. Mechanically it was very sound and structurally very solid. Although the van was in excellent condition both inside and out, more than $50,000 was poured into this rebuild with the focus on making an extremely reliable and comfortable rig capable of cross-country travel. A complete engine overhaul was performed as well as transmission rebuild. Every mechanical item was addressed and all new parts purchased including all engine accessories, sensors, pumps and injectors. The original Dana 70 rear differential was replaced with a late model Dana 60 with disc brakes. Both front and rear Dana 60s were completely disassembled and rebuilt with a gearing upgrade to 4:56 ratio. The transfer case was resealed. All suspension, steering and braking components were rebuilt or replaced with premium parts. The front and rear A/C system was completely gone through and updated to 134A refrigerant and is ice cold. New exhaust including catalytic converter and Dynomax muffler were installed. The second, isolated house battery was moved from the engine compartment to the frame rail to make way for a custom cold air intake. (I have since removed this as it was a bit too noisy for my taste but it is easily installed and will come with the sale)
