Bummed to be selling my 1999 100 series Land Cruiser. I bought this 2 years ago thinking I’d build it up into an overland rig but didn’t get to it. It took me a year to find a 1999 this clean inside and out.
All of the work has been done by State Automotive in Sandy, and they are Toyota guys! They can vouch for the work done and the reliability of this rig.
When I bought it at 198,000 miles I immediately changed the timing belt and water pump. So that’s a $1200 service you won’t have to deal with for another 100k miles.
I’ve also replaced most of the hoses, throttle body, multiple sensors, and serpentine belt, rear sway bar, and the shocks. I only really drive it for road trips so I’ve tried to replace things before they go out. It cruises 90mph. The 285 BFGs have 5,000 miles on them.
I have the 3-row seats as well. I took them out for more storage space.
The rear driver’s side slide out window doesn’t work. It’s a $250 part that I’ve just not gotten around to fixing. The alarm system is functioning, but pretty finicky. It’s never bothered me enough to fix. I’ve taken these into consideration when pricing it.
I’m sure I’m missing some things, but feel free to hit me up with questions.
